NBHS Students Visit Belmont to Present on Social Media Awareness

Students from North Babylon High School recently visited Belmont Elementary School to lead an engaging and informative presentation for our Grade 5 students on the effects of social media. The high school students shared valuable insights on both the positive and negative impacts of social media, including topics such as digital footprints, online safety, and responsible use.
Our fifth graders were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and making meaningful connections to their own experiences. The presentation provided an important opportunity for students to reflect on their online habits and learn strategies for making safe and responsible choices.
We are grateful to the NBHS students for visiting Belmont and serving as role models, helping to build awareness and promote positive digital citizenship among our students.
