Building Community Through Kindness: Belmont Students Give Back

Posted Date: 03/26/26 (02:09 PM)

The Belmont Elementary Student Council, in partnership with the Belmont PTA, recently collaborated with the residents of the Bristol of West Babylon for a truly meaningful service project. Together, they created “Birthday Boxes” filled with essential items and festive touches, which were generously donated to the North Babylon Food Pantry.

This special event was more than just a community service initiative, it was an opportunity to build connections across generations. As students and residents worked side by side, they engaged in conversations, shared stories, and learned from one another’s experiences. The room was filled with laughter, kindness, and a shared sense of purpose.

Through this rewarding experience, our students not only gave back to those in need, but also gained a deeper appreciation for community, compassion, and collaboration. This memorable evening highlighted the power of coming together to make a difference.
