Posted Date: 08/20/26 (11:34 AM)
Good afternoon Belmont Families,
Yesterday, we sent out our summer mailings. In those mailings, you should have received the following:
- Welcome Letter from Mr. Cassagne (Spanish Version)
- Information regarding Arrival & Dismissal Procedures and Breakfast & Lunch Procedures (Spanish Version)
- "Child Safe" Letter (Spanish Version)
- Bus/Pickup/Walker Selection Card
- Chromebook Sign-Off Page
- Your child’s teacher placement, along with a welcome letter from their teacher(s) and, where applicable, a classroom supply list
- Bus pass with route and stop information (if your child is eligible for transportation)
- Information from the Belmont PTA, including details about their first meeting, class representatives, and the Kindergarten Welcome Tea for families of incoming Kindergarten students
- Dental Form & Health Examination Form
Teacher placements have also been posted to the Parent Portal for families to access. Supply lists by grade level can also be found on the Belmont website, along with our Student/Parent Handbook if you would like to review additional information about the upcoming school year.
During the first few days of school, we will have a few additional documents that will be sent home with students. When those are sent home, we will make sure to notify families so you know what to look for.
As we wrap up the final weeks of summer, we are looking forward to welcoming our students back to Belmont in just a few short weeks. If you have any questions or concerns as we prepare for the start of the year, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can contact our Main Office at (631) 620-7505, and we are always happy to help.
Enjoy the rest of your summer. We look forward to the start of another great year at Belmont Elementary School!
Sincerely,
Dan Cassagne
Principal
